A woman with a very small sized waist also, is of course Cathie Jung, on whom you regularly find contributions in our corset letter. She started her corset training only on her forty-fifth birthday, and with the support of her husband Bob, she has achieved a waist of 15 inches. ( 38 cm.)
A heavy, wide leather belt has served its useful purpose with the corset training, and was initially intended and used for wear at night. Many corsets, always with smaller waists, were to follow. Eventually, she managed to reduce her 68 cm waist down by 30 cm.
In aid of the corset makers, Bob has created a cast torso of Cathie. In this way, it is a little easier for the corset makers as they can already try the first fittings of their creations on the torso.

We too, when visiting them in the United States, were overjoyed to be given Cathie’s torso. Such pieces don’t fit in with your luggage though. But thanks to the care of the people with the air company, the torso reached the Netherlands unharmed.
It is in our workshop, but we have put an elastic body on it, making the extreme waist line a little less clearly visible. The people visiting our workshop were a bit scared by the smallness of the waist, and we wanted to prevent people from thinking this is a regular size in corset land.
A corseted body certainly doesn’t need to be laced to the extreme to achieve a beautiful result. For anyone, both male and female, a corset can be made to measure. Apart from that, many customers also seem to be able to walk straight out in a ready made corset. If you have any questions to the Corset maker, please don’t hesitate to ask them.
