As a young person whole plans on going to college for art, particularly costume design, corsets fascinate me! I wanted to ask you one question I have always wondered:
When someone who has been waist training for years takes off their corset, does the waist remain shaped like it was with the piece on? I mean does it retain the figure without the corset?
I am only able to speak for myself--on a few occasions when I have removed my corset for up to two weeks my waist measurement expanded by a few inches but the silhouette and shape of my ribcage remained very conical. It would be difficult for me to figure how long this would remain or if it would ever change significantly. Feel free to ask me more specifics.
Greetings, Mrs Jung
By how the contact information was arranged on the "Contact" section
of http://cathiejung.com was arranged, i take it this email is
going to the lady herself. I'm just assuming, so forgive me if I have
mistaken. :)
So... I'm impressed, just like everybody else. No doubt about that.
I actually had a question. It was about the silver corset... that
one's pretty impressive. I'm suddenly interested in the technical
side. How does that thing close? From the pictures I've seen, I can't
really make out how it works. I can see that there are hinges in the
sides, but I can't really see the lock/clasp/whatever that holds it
closed.
I guess that will satiate my curiosity. Thank you for your time, and
thank you for the possible response in prior.

The silver corset cover has three hookis and eyes or hasps in the back. The dress it is worn over has a built in corset so there is no stress on the silver cover.
Thanks for your note.
I overjoyed to see that you now have your own website. To say the least, I think you look fabulous. If there is one thing I love more than you wonderful hourglass figure so wonderfully showcased when wearing the sexy corsets, it is the fact that you are not a teeny-bopper. Personally I think there is something especially sexy when the woman wearing the corset is in her 60's and looks as good as you. I should tell you I am 60 years old.
Thanks so much for taking time to write. It is surely appreciated by all the parties involved!
Cathie
